Selection of Head Coaches

Those people who wish to Head Coach must complete and submit an application by two weeks prior to evaluations.  Applications are available on the www.saskatoonhusters.ca.  Prospective Head Coaches need to commit to our zone’s Coaching Guidelines (found on our website) and must submit an annual Criminal Record check to the Zone Coordinator.

A 7-person sub-committee will perform the selection of Head Coaches. The committee is chaired by the Zone Commissioner and includes the Zone Coordinator, Coach Liason, Player Coach Coordinator and three other appointed memebers as agreed upon by the executive. The appointed 3 individuals do NOT need to be executive members or members of the zone but to have coaching or a leadership background.  In the event that a conflict of interest is identified, as it relates to coaching selection, that committee member will abstain from all parts of the selection where the conflict is perceived to exist.
