Umpires Needed

Hello families,

Please consider signing up to become an umpire. If each team had one or two parents certified to ump, we would have our B division teams covered. This could also be anyone who would like some extra cash in their pockets. It might be a sibling (12 years and older) who will be there watching anyway, or a college student you may know. We always lack umpires to cover all our teams games. As in the past, parents will probably have to ump our B division games unless we can get more umps certified, may as well get paid this year to do so if you become certified!

Please talk with the zone regarding reimursement of registration fees:

Level 1 Pre-requisites • None
Training Requirements • Attend an umpire clinic.  • Obtain 60% or more on the level 1 certificate exam.
On-Field Application • Officiate local minor or adult softball and provincials.
​Maintenance • Attend a Provincial Umpire Clinic once every two (2) years. • Write Softball Canada exam and obtain 60% or more.
